Reiki:

 

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a relaxation technique that facilitates the body’s ability to heal itself. Accomplished through gentle touch, or with the practitioner’s hands slightly above the body, a warm and soothing energy flows from the hands of the practitioner into the recipient, releasing tension, creating relaxation, and facilitating healing. The energy used is not the practitioner's, but the subtle life force energy that flows through and around all of life.

A simple and effective means of improving health and well-being, Reiki is easy to learn and easy to practice. It is effective both for self-treatment and the treatment of others.
