“Nobody escapes being wounded. We all are wounded people, whether physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. The main question is not, ‘How can we hide our wounds, so we don’t have to be embarrassed, but “How can we put our woundedness in the service of others?” and "When our wounds cease to be a source of shame, and become a source of healing, we have become wounded healers.” - Henri Nouwen

“Mythology is a method to identify traits within the human psyche… and we use these archetypes to translate human experiences…

In Greek myths, Chiron was the wisest of the Centaurs and the archetype of the Wounded Healer…

He was accidentally wounded by an arrow that had been

dipped in the blood of the Hydra…

Because he was immortal, the venom caused him eternal torment…

In his search for his own cure, he discovered how to heal others…

In teaching others the healing arts, he found a measure of solace from his own pain…

“Our sorrows and wounds are healed only when we touch

them with compassion” ~ Buddha

Each of us goes through trials in life…Rites of Passage…Physical illness and pain…Mental confusion… Emotional trauma… Spiritual distress…

These trials help us to learn compassion…

They teach us how to be a Wounded Healer…

“I’m touched by the idea that when we do things that are useful and helpful – collecting these shards of spirituality – that we may be helping

to bring about a healing” ~ Leonard Nimoy

There is a difference between curing someone and healing someone…

Medicine is a Science, but Healing is an Art…

Science is from the Mind… Art is from the Heart…

Healing Energy flows when Hearts connect…

“The doctor is effective only when he himself is affected.

Only the wounded physician heals” ~ Carl Jung

Jung believed that a malady of the soul could be the

best possible form of training for a Healer…

The pains and burdens one bears and eventually overcomes…

Is the source of great wisdom and healing power for others…

The Wounded Healer understands what the patient feels

because he has gone through the same pain…

The Healer’s experience is what makes him a brother of the patient,

rather than his master…

This triggers a fundamental change in perspective…

Because he has learned through experience…

The Healer is able to feel empathy instead of just sympathy…

The Patient can sense this subconsciously...

This opens a conduit between the two on the spiritual level and connects them…

The suffering patient can be cared for by the Healer and

be instrumental in the Healers own healing…

Each encounter between Healer and patient can be transforming for both...

The lesson of Chiron teaches us is that we can

overcome pain and transcend into knowledge…

That each of us can become a Wounded Healer”

“When I stand before thee at the day’s end, thou shalt see my scars and know that I had my wounds and also my healing” ~ Rabindranath Tagore

The main essential prime key quality and attribute before anything else in the work that I do as a Master Reiki / Energy Healer Practitioner with Healing is being empathetic/ɛmpəˈθɛtɪk.

Empathy – Healers demonstrate a deep understanding of vulnerability and pain often because they too have had to emerge and evolve from their own setbacks and tribulations in life.

Which also can be described as being a “Wounded Healer”, one who knows and understands what someone is experiencing as they have been there themselves.

Other prime essential key qualities and attributes are:

Empowerment – Healer’s guide people to actively participate in their own healing process.

Acceptance – Healer’s radiate an acceptance of people for who they are not for how they fit into a preconceived mould.

Challenge – Healer’s encourage and tenderly challenge people to change and evolve, inspiring a shift attitude from life negating energy towards life affirming energy, from the unconscious to the conscious, from dis-ease to well-being.

Communication – Healer’s speak people’s healing language. Even when the Healer’s language is unfamiliar, what they say somehow rings as Truth.

Humility – Healer’s "do no harm", encouraging others to engage meaningfully with illness and issues ailing them.

Involvement - The relationship with the healer dissolves antiquated social confines to allow for a fluid, natural and organic way of honouring human beings as souls.

Protection – Healer’s provide a safe, comfortable and protective healing space and environment at all times, in all aspects energetically and physically.

Touch – Healer’s provide soul connections for true body, mind, spirit, soul synergy encouraging healing, harmony and joyfulness.

Confidentiality and Trust - Healer's always lawfully and ethically practice and uphold professional conduct and keep their patient/client information private and confidential at all times.

Client Care & Well-being - Healer's use their knowledge and skills to benefit patients/clients, avoiding any actions that could harm or cause injustice.

Knowledge - Healer's honor support and respect those who have taught them the sciences and arts of healing, sharing their knowledge to/with others and will seek guidance, help and assistance from other specialists/practitioners when necessary. When/if the Healer finds that the clients' needs go/are beyond the scope that they are qualified to be of service to them for they will seek to refer to the appropriately qualified practitioner who can assist their client.

Divine Neutrality – Divine neutrality is the complete absence of any judgement. It’s the ultimate non-dual, unity consciousness state of being. And personally, it’s the most purely and powerfully loving energy I have ever experienced. How can you be there to assist another on their healing journey when you have some sort of conscious/unconscious bias or judgement?

In my professional capacity as a Master Energy Healing Practitioner I personally do not need to spend a lot of time “Talking” with/to my healing clients initially regarding their wounds/issues, as sometimes they may not always be a victim/survivor they maybe someone who has been a perpetrator of some sorts and as such they wholeheartedly deserve a safe healing space and practitioner in order to heal as well.

Most importantly the subtle healing energy goes intuitively to where it needs to go over time to gently assist in releasing, clearing and healing what is necessary for them at this stage along their own healing path, and it's always their choice in regards to the timeline and what is comfortable for them ongoing healingwise and how long they need in between healing sessions for integration and then ultimately moving on to completion.

I focus at a higher level of the wholeness of who and what they can and will be and I work within the higher states of non-verbal divine neutrality and unconditional trust and they sense that, so/and they are safe to feel and feel safe at all levels and if that means when I am working with certain energy processes/protocols with them that they release strong mostly negative blocked emotions coming up from various times along their life's timeline that they have been carrying around inside of themselves at a deep level so be it.

Reason being that if not released these strong negative blocked emotions may cause them to develop/experience certain afflictions or dis-eases due to it/them being trapped inside over time.

There is always time after healing sessions allocated for integration and for sharing any insights, they themselves have experienced/seen/felt etc. and any insights that may have come through for me to share concerning/regarding them.

At times a healing or a shift of some kind may occur for myself at a higher-level during healing sessions and I accept that too but never burden my clients with these things as they should not be concerned with that information.

It’s their healing journey not mine and I always respect that as the healing path is not a quick fix by all means, it’s a brave and courageous one yet ultimately so worth it in the long run of things in all aspects for each of them and their life/lives.

As with all of life being an amazing continuous ongoing journey like ones own healing path is, at times if I personally need to work through any of my own healing/life issues that may arise like I am presently I cease to work with clients whilst doing so until they have been resolved and healed.

Yours in holistic health, healing love and light..
